A surprise gift from a very special client. This lady gave me a boxful of beautiful old canning jars. We helped her and her husband sell their family hobby farm and she wanted to give them to me because we once compared notes on making jams and pickles 
. I washed them up- some have a wonderful blue or green tint. Looked up these types of jars on the Internet and they appear to be from the early 1900’s. They are Gem and Crown jars.
