We are so thrilled! Our offer on an adorable commercially zoned 1 1/2 storey home in the hottest little spot in Barrie has firmed up. Reason for the added excitement (because we are always happy for our buyers and sellers when their deals firm up too!) is that we are helping our oldest daughter Madeleine in buying her first home

The view is brighter for Barrie and area sales, with the number of residential properties sold through the MLS in February up for the first time since last October. It is probably an indication that people have begun to adjust to actual real estate market conditions and the fact that new buyers are finding it more affordable than ever to buy a home due to lower prices and lower interest rates.
The number of new listings are dropping and this will likely continue as well, with suppy adjusting to lower demand overall. This will hopefully lead to a stabilization of prices- the levelling out that we are waiting for…
